“ "Booty on fire", "the climax", and "smells like my ex" are just of a few of the unique names you'll find on the menu. Oddly enough, my father-in-law, who joined us, said the, "smells like my ex" is his favorite menu item here"... yikes! Even though the name is not appetizing, this did look very good. It's a tower of real crab, spicy tuna, tobiko, green onion, mango, avocado & seared salmon. I didn't try this, but my father-in-law swears by it. I ordered the Max roll; shrimp tempura and avocado wrapped in salmon. Then topped with spicy mayo, sriracha, unagi sauce, and tobiko. This roll was very good and I quickly inhaled it! The raw salmon on top was extremely fresh and paired with a spicy mayo and crunchy shrimp tempura; It had all the textures you want in one bite. We also ordered some edamame and fried calamari for the table. The service was on point and our server, Lisa?, was very attentive and checked on us multiple times to make sure we liked our food or needed our drinks refreshed. Which we greatly appreciated, especially because it was so busy on a Wednesday night. Just based off their menu, they have great happy hour options with tons of food and drink deals. If I lived close by this might be a date night regular spot for my wife and I. To all the sushi snobs out there reading this, trust me I know, this is not a "traditional" sushi place, but if you're looking for a fun time and some tasty food, Wasabi On Fire is the spot! ”
“ Went here twice and their sushi rolls are super good! I also went here for teppanyaki as well and service was top notch. My fav rolls are the Fresno and Max roll :) ”
“ My fave teppanyaki spot in Fresno thus far. As someone who has gone to a majority of the teppanyaki places in Fresno, I have to say this place reigns supreme, especially in terms of the chefs! They are always very nice and entertaining. The food is always a HIT. A miso soup and yummy salad to get you started... Typical teppanyaki bacon friend rice, your choice of meat, veggies? Can't go wrong with that. Have come here on multiple occasions and will likely be here again. ”
“ I have been here a handful of times and the food has always been good. The only things I don't like about this place is that it's kind of loud and you can't make a reservation for the dining room. We were a party of 7 so we arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night to hopefully beat the rush and not have to wait forever for a table. We were seated pretty soon after we put our name in. Our server was pretty attentive and helpful when he got to me because I couldn't decide between a few rolls. The one he suggested (The Climax) was really good so I was happy with my choice. ”
“ Still my favorite teppan / sushi spot in town. The menu is pretty large and the cocktails are good. The restaurant and restroom is always clean and the staff is nice. My go to orders are always tuna and salmon nigiri and smells like my ex. ”
“ What can I say the food never disappoints the service is always A1 the atmosphere nice and family friendly. Had an amazing fire show too. ”
